Hyderabad: On the happy Deepavali Day, some 42 people rushed to Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital with injuries to the eyes due to the bursting of firecrackers. The condition of seven of those injured was critical.
People started coming to the hospital from Sunday afternoon and till early Monday morning. They were mostly from Hyderabad city and parts of Ranga Reddy District.
