Shloka Mehta may have become the daughter-in-law of Mukesh and Nita Ambani in March this year, but she has been attending public events with her then to-be husband and in-laws long before she tied the knot with Akash Ambani. Shloka and Nita Ambani were seen attending public functions together on innumerable occasions long before she officially became an integral part of India’s richest family. One such event was the wedding reception of Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja in Mumbai last year. Suddenly, several videos of Shloka arriving at the party with then to-be husband Akash and to-be in-laws Mukesh and Nita Ambani have gone viral on the internet. One such video has become a topic of intense social media conversations because of how Akash pulled Shloka back as she walked alongside Mukesh and Nita Ambani.
Dressed in a red lehenga and sporting minimal make-up, Shloka had looked ravishing and embodiment of the traditional Indian beauty. While Akash had opted for a black suit. After the Ambanis and Shloka finished posing for the waiting paparazzi, they moved towards the venue of the party. It was here when the overenthusiastic photographers shouted ‘Akash, Akash’ for a photo of the couple together. Mindful of not causing disappointment to them, Akash decided to oblige them. But there was one problem, Shloka had already walked several steps with her to-be in-laws towards the hall.
Much to her surprise, as was evident from her facial expression, Akash pulled her towards him. It took Shloka a few seconds to make sense of what was happening. Soon, she composed herself and the two posed for the camera again.
The loving mother-in-law that she has turned out to be, Nita Ambani waited patiently for Shloka and Akash to join her before the family entered the reception hall.
One video alone has clocked more than six million views with fans commenting generously on Shloka’s beauty and appreciating Akash’s magnanimity.
Prominent among those attending the wedding reception of Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja were the Ambanis, Sahara Shri Subrato Roy, Akash Kumar with wife Twinkle Khanna, fashion designer Manish Malhotra and the list went on.
Childhood sweethearts Shloka Mehta and Akash got married in March this year with who’s who of global politics, business, entertainment, politics and sports attending their wedding.
