Shloka Mehta turned out to be a show stopper at a pre-wedding party hosted by her in-laws Mukesh and Nita Ambani as India’s richest family welcomes Bollywood’s who’s who for a pre-wedding party. Even though former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira Rajput were in the guest list, Shloka’s stunning beauty stole the thunder at the party.
Shloka had chosen lace lavender separates with a similar colour long-line lace jacket. To complement her look, the Ambani bahu opted for emerald and diamond choker. But what appeared to nail the look was her hair in soft curls with statement pink lips. Shloka’s dress was designed by Anamika Khanna.
Shloka’s fashion statement and simple stunning beauty clearly outsmarted the style quotient of even the likes of Aishwarya and Mira, who are often considered to be two of the biggest divas in the Hindi film industry.
In contrast, Aishwarya had arrived at the party with husband Abhishek Bachchan in a red anarkali, which she wore with bare minimum accessories. Mira Rajput wore a pastel shade saree with a ruffled neckline blouse accessorised with a diamond and emerald choker. Her Bollywood actor-husband Shahid had opted for an ivory white achkan.
Other prominent guests in the evening were Shah Rukh Khan, Anil Kapoor with wife Sunita Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez. It was also heartening to see Mukesh Ambani’s younger brother Anil Ambani and his wife Tina Ambani (formerly Tina Munim).
The pre-wedding party was for Arjun Kothari, the nephew of Mukesh Ambani. The Ambanis had lit up their posh south Mumbai residence, Antilia.
This was the second party hosted by the Ambanis in a short span of time after they welcomed big names at their Diwali party. The Diwali party, hosted for the IPL team Mumbai Indians, had seen Isha Ambani earn plenty of plaudits for an incredible gesture towards her in-laws after her husband ‘rudely’ walked away without bothering to take care of his parents and wife.
