Hyderabad: A Secunderabad based 20-year-old Engineering student was arrested by the sleuths of Cyber Crime Police of Rachakonda Commissionerate on Friday for posting uncovered photographs of a girl on Instagram.
The accused, Narra Akshay (20), a third-year Engineering student, was arrested based on the petition of a girl’s mother; he was allegedly posted two images of a girl from a fake account. After the victim didn’t respond to his messages he created another account and started repeating the act, the girl warned him not to do such activities as they were the classmates so the suspect deleted the images.
Later, the victim informed her mother and a case was registered by the Cyber Crime Cell under section 354, 419, 201 of IPC and section 67 of the IT ACT. The accused was arrested by the cops from his house after collecting the technical evidence.
